CHANGING YOUR MIND

Benjamin Franklin said the definition of insanity “ … is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

We don’t subscribe to techniques that have you painfully examine your life for past “failures”, but instead help you change limiting or self-defeating beliefs and anxious thoughts while increasing confidence and focus.

COUNSELLING …

… is a confidential process designed to help people deal more effectively with issues causing difficulties and distress in their lives. It assists clients to view their situation, life issues, or areas of concern from a broader perspective, enabling them to make life enhancing choices and decisions to live a more productive, fulfilling life.

HOW?

We employ a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Counselling (CBC), NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Motivational Hypnosis to quickly, easily and dramatically change the way you react to your world.

Along the way, we teach you meditation, mindfulness and self-hypnosis to help you achieve connectedness, inner peace and calm at will.

Some people though find it helpful to just get a second opinion on their life’s direction when they seem bogged down, and appreciate a confidential chat with a non-judgemental professional.

  • WHAT IS COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL COUNSELLING?

Cognitive Behavioural Counselling helps you recognize how your thoughts can affect your feelings and behaviour.

  • WHAT IS NEUROLINGUISTIC (NLP) PROGRAMMING?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming examines the relationship between successful patterns of behaviour and the patterns of thought underlying them to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication to change their patterns of mental and emotional behaviour.

Quite often NLP is combined with hypnosis for the most effective results.

  • WHAT IS EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT)?

Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT (often known as Tapping or EFT Tapping), is a universal healing tool that can provide impressive results for physical, emotional, and performance issues.

Even for physical issues, chronic pain, or diagnosed conditions, it is common knowledge that any kind of emotional stress can impede the natural healing potential of the human body.

  • WHAT IS MOTIVATIONAL HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is a natural state of selective, focused attention that humans enter many times a day.

It is 100% natural and remains one of the most fascinating phenomena of the human mind.

Our ability to enter this unique state of consciousness opens the door to countless possibilities for healing, self-exploration and change.

  • MEDITATION & MINDFULNESS VS SELF-HYPNOSIS

Mindfulness and meditation are two sides of the same coin. They both take practice to achieve, while self-hypnosis, described as super meditation, can be achieved in as little as a breath or two.

When using self-hypnosis directly, you can invoke calm, connectedness and a peaceful inner tranquility within a few breaths, then go on to visualize a great speech or presentation you’re about to deliver, or successfully powering through an exam you’re about to write.

  • IF HYPNOSIS IS SO GREAT,
    WHY ISN’T EVERYONE USING IT?

As a matter of fact, they are.

Well known Psychologist Michael Yapko, PhD, recently wrote that the clinical world is already moving in the direction of hypnosis rather than away from it.

Almost overnight, it seems, techniques like “mindfulness,” “focusing,” “guided imagery,” “mind-body healing,” and the like, are skyrocketing in popularity.

All of these techniques, Dr. Yapko says, are undeniably hypnotically based in their use of focusing and suggestive methods to achieve their aims. (Dr. Yapko’s Article)
