what just happened?
It is with a heavy heart and mixed emotions that we bring you news of the death of Ted Robinson on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
Ted was very well known to the NGH and the Canadian CHC attendees as the expert in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), or Tapping.
As a matter of fact, a number of years ago while enrolled in the NGH Certified Hypnotist course in the US, he developed a headache emanating from his eye that was so painful he considered going to the hospital.
However, one of the hypnosis instructors took him aside, showed him EFT, and as Ted said, 20 minutes later he was pain free.
He finished the CH course but from that moment forward, made EFT his main therapy.
about him
Ted was a criminal defence attorney in the state of New York for nearly 50 years, and was known for his effectiveness.
High school graduation picture … on his way to law school!
For example, from what you might think a lawyer should be like, Ted was a gentle man.
I spent close to a quarter of a century in civil intelligence and spent my fair share of time being torn up for s--t paper by lawyers in court, so when you came up against a solicitor like Ted, with his softly spoken, polite questions, you'd be on full mental alert just waiting for him to turn on you like a bad tempered storm.
But it was only after he politely thanked you when he'd finished his cross examination and you sat down a sigh of relief at having gotten off so easy, that with a start, you'd suddenly realize he'd just led you to admit something incredibly stupid that he was going to use to bring your world crashing to an end.
I was never crossed by Ted in court but in every conversation we had, I'd wait for the twinkle in his eye to appear and for him to say something like, "Really? I hadn't realized that before ..." and THAT was the trap.
Ted was an very informed man and even though he'd ask questions about hypnosis, spirituality or metaphysics, you can bet he'd done his homework before asking for clarification on anything.
